SensUs is an annual international competition based in the Netherlands where teams across the world compete to create the most sensitive, user-friendly, and accurate biosensor based on a given analyte and medium. Teams are free to choose how they develop their sensor and what techniques are used. This results in a variety of designs each year for each new prompt.
Health partners, stakeholders, and professors attend and judge the teams’ biosensors based on creativity and the potential to get on the market. Four awards are given out each year which include: The Analytical Performance award, the Creativity award, the Translation Potential award, and the Public Inspiration award. SensUs is a great opportunity for networking with companies and professionals all within the field of biosensing and healthcare.
